Rural Development Organization Project - New Project

Why?

RDO has been implementing Childline-1098 toll free 24 hours service project in 3 taluks. It is funded by Ministry of Women &Child Development Govt. of India.
-We should rescue the distressed/abused children within one hour from the information we receive.
-The Government sanctions only the travel cost for our staff. But, the transportation facility is not available for 24 hours. As such, the most remote villages in our district don't have transport facilities.
-Our district has no child home


How?

-To rescue the distressed/abused children in the needed time by having four wheeler facility to reach the remote villages.
-To construct a child protection home to accommodate the rescued and dropout children.
-To educate parents and public especially the Panchayatraj members to protect the child rights by mass level awareness programmes at district level.
-To ensure education, health and trainings at the home as per the rescued children's age and capabilities, hospitality, safety of children.

Expected Achievement


-If we are assisted a four wheeler we may rescue the children who are in need of help even at remote villages.
-This project will promote our efficiency to rescue the children below 18 years and cater the dropout children below 14 years for a maximum number of 50 to cater their needs in safe accommodation.
-We have enhanced this project in 3 taluks as 155 Panchayats, 1270 villages at 24 hours service by a four wheeler facility at prompt.
-A Pucca building to ensure the rescued children.

I certify that the information in this proposal is true and complete to the best of my knowledge. I also certify that the organization and I will abide by the terms and conditions of the grant/fund as established by granter/funder. I further certify that all received funds/grants will be used exclusively for the purpose stated in this proposal unless I normally request and receive prior authorization from funder for any changes. Further, I understand that if the funding is granted for the project described above it will be for an initial period of ONE year and can be extended, if necessary, by renewing the proposal. Also, regular status reports on the project will be provided by the organization to funder for the duration of the funding.
