School Uniforms for Children

Project Proposal

School Uniforms for Children - Ongoing Project

School Uniforms for children promote a single standard of dress making school environments become less competitive and more focused on learning.Uniforms boost school spirit and builds a sense of community and belonging within the school. This will have a positive effect on a child's attitude toward school leading to better learning and improved attendance. Vibha has been sponsoring Rs.200000 towards this project annually. We request your sponsor for the total yearly project cost of Rs. 1700000

Around March of every year, we buy clothes for uniforms for the existing children and for the projected growth in the school strength in the next year, from mill through a dealer by paying 100% advance.Mid- April when we get the material we arrange for tailors from a garment company to take measurements of each child and the stitched clothes from the company are delivered by end of May,when we pay them. The uniforms are distributed to all children by first week of June, when the school reopens.
