After school tutor program for Government School going children in 10 slums of Chittoor. - New Project
In Chittoor urban slums there is a low income group community who were in slums for many years. Now most of the children go to the local government schools. Teaching quality in municipal school of Chittoor slums is very low. Overall environment is not supportive for education. As a result of this, children don't get opportunity to learn new things. In spite of this their learning levels remain very low. During the course of period they were getting dropout and becoming as child labourers.
After school program, a safe space that support healthy social and emotional development, teach crucial 21st century skills, and promote academic success. After school programs teach skills that are essential for success in the 21st century workforce, including critical thinking, technology literacy, ability to collaborate and work in teams, creativity, communication, and more. HEARDS provide tutoring and/or homework assistance designed to help students meet state standards.

After school program will help students realize their potential, supplement knowledge and to compensate skill gaps. HEARDS makes sure 500 under privileged children remain active, motivated, and happy during their time away from school. Educating the under privileged ultimately will make a change for whole family and future generations.
