Early childhood care - Ongoing Project
The project partners with families during the critical early years after the diagnosis of disability. Research shows that a child's early years is a key when it comes to learning. The sooner a child starts receiving early intervention which includes special education and different forms of therapies, the more opportunities s/he will have to fully develop her or his abilities and get mainstreamed.
Shristi has a transdisciplinary team of therapists, psychologist and special educators. A thourough assessment of child has been done after which they discuss work and set goals for each child. The programme provides therapeutic interventions and special education which develops independence in child's daily life skills and prepare for future economic productivity.
