LAFF Mobile Play van - Ongoing Project


The project provides them with an opportunity of playing &getting educated through games, provides a stimulating conducive environment to children to grow to their full potential.Thus it promotes the overall development of children parents wants their children to add to the income rather than investing a part of their income for the child's education. We want to attract children towards education through the mode of games and spread the importance of the same in their lives in future.


LAFF van covers 11 municipal schools.The centers operate in such a way that every class gets one hour of playtime twice a week. The center has well equipped library & a team of 5 trained educators including driver who also manages games to impart the necessary skill to these students. Each teacher is given a group of 8 children of each class to take care of their progress. Puppetry, story telling,drama, songs,kraft, drawing, little curriculum based activities are also a part of the project.

Qualitative Outcome Indicators

Improved children's attendance.
chidren develop liking towards academic subjects that they found difficult once.
Children became more organized
Children began caring, sharing and respecting each other
They adapted cleanliness and understand the importance of hygience.
Their decision making ability was improved.
They developed new creative ways to solve problems.

Quantitative Outcome Indicators

We visit 11 municipal schools,7 mobile creches centres, 2 hospitals, do summer camps or visit schools where municipal authorities conduct summer camps.
Schools : we visit twice a month 11 schools covering per day average 190 children
7 Mobile cresches : We cover 50 children a centre visiting one centre a month
Hospitals ; we cover 60 childrena month
Diwali kemps and summer camps we cover 20o children.

I further certify that all received funds/grants will be used exclusively for the purpose stated in this proposal unless I normally request and receive prior authorization from funder for any changes. Further, I understand that if the funding is granted for the project described above it will be for an initial period of ONE year and can be extended, if necessary, by renewing the proposal. Also, regular status reports on the project will be provided by the organization to funder for the duration of the funding.
