Street Children Rehabilitation Project - Ongoing Project
Prevent and protect At-risk children (Streetand Orphan) and vulnerable young adults against sexual abuse, exploitation and trafficking by way of improvement of social environment; improvement of educational services, schooling and training; and by reinforcement of the community capacities
This project aims to expand and reinforce COR's urban capabilities by being able to extend its services for street and railway platform children in areas, where these children are particularly vulnerable, due to the quarters principal activity; prevent and protect this vulnerable sub-population from physical and sexual exploitation and trafficking. CORP wants to help this exposed sub-population by providing other lifestyles opportunities either on the streets itself or in daycare center.

Contribution by Organisation: Rs. 400,000
Contribution by Other Organisation: Rs. 125,000
1)The children, who have been rehabilitated, reformed and stopped using drugs and some have returned back to their parents.
2)Those that have changed are now in formal schools learning system with other children
3)Those that are over 18 years have been employed in factories and other sectors.
4)Some have been placed in Children's Homes, where they are being taken care of by foster parents.
5)Those that have acquired vocational skills are helped to start their own business.
1) 50 children sent to their families
2) 23 children completed vocational trainings and lead independent and productive lives.
3) 75 children staying at our shelter homes
4) 12 children are completed their 12th grade and studying university level
5) 32 are attending private English medium schools
I certify that the information in this proposal is true and complete to the best of my knowledge.
I also certify that the organization and I will abide by the terms and conditions of the
grant/fund as established by granter/funder. I further certify that all received funds/grants
will be used exclusively for the purpose stated in this proposal unless I normally request and
receive prior authorization from funder for any changes. Further, I understand that if the
funding is granted for the project described above it will be for an initial period of ONE year
and can be extended, if necessary, by renewing the proposal. Also, regular status reports on the
project will be provided by the organization to funder for the duration of the
